The UK Maritime Trade Operations agency reported a tanker was struck by unknown projectiles off the coast of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. The agency said all crew were safe and no environmental damage was reported. Hours earlier, UKMTO reported that a bulk carrier was attacked by multiple small craft about 11 nautical miles west of Sirik, off the coast of Iran. The circumstances of both incidents remain unclear.
